If you can boil water, you can make this healthy and nutritious breakfast, Irish Oatmeal, It takes less than 4 minutes and is good for your body. It is a natural, whole grain and it is also a good source of fiber.I purchased the name brand "McCann's", the quick cooking rolled oats. I stay away from the sugary, cartoon character boxed oatmeal. They are packed with so much sugar and who knows what else. This brand has no sugar, just 100% Whole Grain Irish Oats and comes in at $.49 per serving!Since I had some dried cranberries and love the sweet/tart taste they provide, and the vitamin C, I added about 1/4 cup of the dried cranberries to the water as it was boiling for some added sweetness, and sprinkled some organic coconut palm sugar. Mixed it all together and enjoyed a healthy breakfast.
