Protein Smoothie

Making a protein smoothie for breakfast is a pleasant treat and a great alternative to eggs or any other breakfast food.  It's a great breakfast to take on the go when you don't have time to fuss in the kitchen or when you would just  rather  drink your breakfast. You can be very creative in what type of fruits you use and your choices are limitless! This morning I made my smoothie  using a  protein powder mix, 1/2 banana, fresh strawberries, almond milk and ice.  Put it all in a blender for 30 seconds and breakfast was ready! Tasted just like a strawberry milkshake but without all of the heavy calories, fat or sugar.  You can top it off with a sprig of fresh mint and enjoy!
