Prosciutto Wrapped Asparagus with Gruyere Cheese
Ingredients: Serves 2
  • 8 pieces of asparagus
  • 2 slices of prosciutto
  • 8 ounces of Gruyere cheese, sliced
Preparation:
Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Place a pot of water on the stove and bring it to a boil. In the meantime, trim the ends of the asparagus. Once the water comes to a boil add the asparagus and cook for three minutes. Remove and place in a large bowl filled with water and ice. This will stop the cooking process and help to retain the rich green color of the vegetable. Let it rest for a few minutes. Remove and pat dry with a paper towel.
