Skillet Chicken Alfredo

There is no need to make a mess in the kitchen. With this recipe, all you will need are a cutting board, knife and skillet. Easy to prepare and easy to clean up making more time for you. Now, that is something I believe we would all enjoy more of, right?

Skillet Chicken Alfredo

Ingredients: Serves 2

  • 1 ½ tablespoon of olive oil
  • 12 ounces of boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • Salt and pepper to season
  • 1 cloves garlic, minced
  • 7 ounces chicken broth
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • ¼ pound of linguine pasta
  • 1 cup of freshly shredded real parmesan cheese
  • 1/8 cup parsley, finely chopped

Preparation:

Cut the chicken breasts into 1 inch pieces. Season the chicken with salt and pepper. Heat the olive oil over medium high heat in a skillet. Once hot, add the seasoned chicken and cook for about 5 minutes to brown. Add the minced garlic and continue cooking for 1 minute.

Add the chicken broth, cream, and uncooked pasta to the skillet and stir.

Bring the liquid to a boil, then cover and reduce to a simmer.

Simmer for about 8 minutes or until pasta is tender. Remove from heat and stir in shredded parmesan cheese. Stir in the chopped parsley.

Season with salt and pepper as needed.
