Feeling a bit crazed this holiday season? Wondering how on earth you will ever get anything accomplished, especially making a healthy, nutritious and delicious meal? Well, worry no more!
Your meals do not have to keep you in the kitchen for hours. Besides, who has time for that, especially this time of the year. Let’s face it, whether you work at home taking care of the family, work outside the home, or both, December is a very busy time of the year. There are holiday parties, family gatherings, birthdays, Hanukkah, Christmas, shopping, more parties and more shopping. And yes, if you have children, their busy lifestyles running them around to their friends and their extra-curricular activities. Wow, I’m exhausted just from thinking about this. Now you have to also remember to make dinner, supper or whatever meal you want and need to eat.
Well, relax, literally, because this delicious recipe incorporates white wine. Hello!!! A little bit for the recipe and a little bit (well, ok, you deserve it, a lot) of wine for you. You can be sitting down with your glass of wine from start to finish within 20 minutes. Less time than ordering in or dining out. More time for you to continue on with this crazed time of year!
Tonight, I used a recipe from the food channel network from Ina Garten.

I love her style of cooking and basically use the exact ingredients when I make mine. The only added ingredient in my recipe is the white wine. Make sure to add that in, about 1/4 cup before you add the parsley and let it reduce down for about 2 minutes. But just like you, I feel crazed so I thought posted a link to her recipe would be a lot easier. (I am working on my cookbook) So, try this recipe and post your thoughts on my blog. Cheers and as always, Enjoy!
thanks for this – and I am actually going to try this recipe later this month – looks easy and nutritious and yum – and your words to chill here are nice 🙂 ❤
Next time perhaps some leftovers? 🙂
