- 1/8 cup soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1 teaspoon honey
- 1 teaspoon rice vinegar
- 1 clove crushed garlic
- 1/4 teaspoon minced ginger
- 1/2 (14 oz) package extra-firm tofu, drained and dried on paper towels. Cut into 12 slices.
In a medium shallow dish, mix all ingredients, except the tofu together. Add tofu and let soak in sauce for 1 hour. Carefully remove the tofu (reserve excess sauce) and place on foil lined baking sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
Remove the baking sheet from the oven and carefully flip the tofu over. Increase heat to 425 degrees. Pour remaining sauce over the tofu and bake again for 5-7 minutes, or until the tofu is golden brown and firm to the touch.
