Today was a good day to stay indoors and bake. The weather really changed from yesterdays 46 degrees to today’s 30 degrees and wet snow.
So, I had a lot of work to do and figured today would be a good day to bake. I can then freeze these beauties and when I need them, just pop them out of the freezer the night before, and, voila, I have a fruit dessert!
To make them extra special I added a few cut up pieces of caramel squares that I had and topped them off with some pink and purple decorating sugar for the upcoming holiday, Valentines Day. Each pie is the perfect individual serving. If you feel extra decadent, you can add a scoop of some delicious vanilla bean ice cream. Enjoy!
