I don’t know anyone who does not like some type of Chinese food. But sometimes when you place an order, you may not always get what you want. It may be too salty, too greasy, too bland or it may be just right. But when you make it at home, it’s always just right. You control the ingredients and the flavors.
Tonight I purchased some shrimp. Since I always have fresh and frozen vegetables on hand I thought I would make some shrimp stir fry. It’s very quick and easy and when I make it I know exactly what ingredients are in the meal. I can control the salt and of course, no artificial add-ins.
This was so easy to prepare. I first made the rice. Then I scrambled an egg. After that, I cleaned my shrimp, cut up my vegetables and fired up the wok with some peanut oil. If you have peanut allergies then use some vegetable oil. As far as the vegetables are concerned, this is the beauty of it all, you just add in what YOU like!
I then quickly stir fried the vegetables with the shrimp, added the egg, and seasoned it with some low sodium soy sauce. That’s it. All under 30 minutes from start to finish. Less than take out or delivery! Enjoy!
simply amazing!
Thank you!
